TA Magic Mirror – Symmetry Tools

TA MM_ReSymm
This LSC will search for the Point _closest_ to where the perfect, symmetrical matching Point should be, (+/- X/Y/Z) within a user-definable tolerance, and then puts the Point it finds back on "perfect symmetry" for the chosen axis.

TA AsymmSelect
This LSC will select any Points that don't currently have a perfect, symmetrical match. (Helpful when you want to run TA_MM_Re-Symm on just the troubled points....)


Why:
Have you ever accidentally "just" touched a large "Magnet" tool to your model when Symmetry Mode wasn't active, and didn't realize it until later, when you found your Symmetry was out-of-alignment?

Or, have you gotten a model from colleague who works in another software package that has "Symmetry Tolerance" allowing imprecision to creep exponentially into their work?

Most people just cut their model in half... set the points that should be on X=0, back there manually, and then Mirror their model....

But what if you've spent a lot of time working UV's, WeightMaps, ColorMaps or other things that could be mangled by this kind of surgery?

("My god man, drilling holes in his head isn't the answer! ")

Wouldn't it be nice to have a tool that would be able to _automatically_ find the point closest to where the symmetrical point _should_ be, and put it back in its place?

I've had some colleagues stare blankly at their screen wondering how they were going to slog through fixing mangled symmetry... and so I wrote this to make their work-lives just a bit less hellish.
